With Ocean in Google Earth 5.0, you can dive beneath the surface and visit the deepest part of the ocean, the Mariana Trench, explore the ocean with top marine experts including National Geographic and BBC, learn about ocean observations, climate change, and endangered species, and discover new places including surf, dive, and travel hot spots and shipwrecks. The Foundation has contributed data to various marine regions around the world.

Cambridge Coastal Research Unit (CCRU) provides scientifically-informed input for the better management of shorelines and their associated ecosystems; facilitates and promotes multi-diciplinary research into all aspects of shallow water marine science; and informs coastal management and decision-making organisations within governmental and non-governmental institutions.

The Aquarius Underwater Habitat is an underwater ocean laboratory located in the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary. The laboratory is deployed 3 1/2 miles offshore, at a depth of 60 feet, next to spectacular coral reefs. Scientists live in Aquarius during ten day missions using saturation diving to study and explore our coastal ocean.

The Bermuda Institute of Ocean Sciences (BIOS) seeks to improve society's understanding of marine ecosystems, ocean to atmospheric interactions and ocean health, and their larger influence on man's habitat and health.

NCORE's goal is to advance coral reef science so we can determine the range of potential consequences of a disturbance or change in management strategy on both the ecology of the reef and the socioeconomics of the reef-dependent people.

The Blue Frontier Campaign works to link seaweed activists with concerned citizens who, getting so much from the sea in terms of recreation, transportation, food, security, livelihood and spiritual renewal, are now ready to give something back.

The National Coral Reef Institute (NCRI) was established by Congressional mandate in 1998. NCRI's primary objective is the assessment, monitoring, and restoration of coral reefs through basic and applied research, and through training and education.
